Galway and Dundalk can really make life very difficukt for Shels and Derry with home wins. Based on form you would have to make them favourites and losses for Shels and Derry while you couldnt say after 11 games were terminal but being double digit points behind 2 or 3 teams is a lot harder to come back from than chasing one team and hoping they dip in form.
Bohs will be heavy favs against Sligo but you could have said the same for Rovers and Bohs last weekend against Waterford so they still need to show up and do the business.
Pats v Rovers could go either way but i fancy us to go and win it particularly if Pats players that came off injured agaisnt Dundalk are still out.
Waterford v Drogs is a big game for Drogs, lose and they are in the relegation mix which no one wouldreally have predicted coming into this season.
Longford off a depressing weekend could do with a result against Bray, you want to stay in touch with the playoff places in Div 1 or it becomes a real slog of a season

Four very interesting games in the Premier. Waterford vs Drogheda is possibly huge for both of their seasons. False Dawn for Waterford, or Drogheda in trouble.

The only one I wouldnt include is Bohs vs Sligo. Bohs dont concede and Sligo dont score (cue 3 nil win for Sligo...).

If Sligo lose, they could be in last place or 8 points off safety.

You dont get to make the money Philip O Doherty has made by being reactionary to every problem and while the fans may be looking for Lynch's head a new guy coming in is going to inherit all the players Lynch has signed....better to let him see if he can turn it around and then make the decision at the end of the season IMO.
I dont expect this to happen but ir Rovers lost to PAts and Derry win in Oriel there isonly 6 points between them with 25 matches to go.....O Doherty will be looking at a couple of wins to turn things around.....the world could loook very different after another 7 or 8 games......Stephen Kenny was for the door 7 or 8 games ago and now he is top of the league.

This is it, 10 team league and the swing can be dramatic over a couple of rounds with back to back good or bad results. I dont think Lynch could survive another loss surely, as patient or as sensible as O'Doherty may be. There isnt a relegation issue likely so you could wait but particularly restless fans have an influence. When you can see stuff like playing McClean at 6 isnt working and yet it is persisted, with or missing one player like Duffy changes things from 3rd or 4th to 8th, after significant time and money well maybe a new manager needs the game time from say June to start another new project.

Im reluctant to make a call on the game, form suggests Dundalk but who knows. When you start really believing it hurst harder ala Republic of Ireland recently.

St Pats could make a statement win, nothing won in April but Rovers are capable of dropping points and could give themselves too much to do going in to the final round if they dont tidy up by showing up even this early for them. Galways are more than capable of beating Shels and I think thats how it will go. Waterford and Drogheda is very interesting, contrasts is Drogs win and its a nothing to see here, lose and Doherty is under a bit of pressure. Waterford need goals and win, another loss and Daly is first to go, owners have a different level of patience. Bohs have to be beating Sligo at home if they are serious about a title challenge, limited resources or not how long can Sligo stick with Russell if there isnt some year on year development of a team and this year it so far looks like they are the ones protecting others from relegation rather than them being protected.

The locals appear to be becoming slightly restless in Longford. Could do with a win on Saturday but won't be easy.

The locals in Kerry mightn't be too far off becoming restless as well. Been very patient so far, even going back to last year before the change in management.
