He definitely wasn't as good this season as last, I actually think he was better for us at CB. Long throw will be a loss, if we don't have an actual long throw replacement I hope we don't just stick a randomer on it, you can't half arse it if you want it to work

It was kind of strange at the end of last season. It seemed to be a similar situation as Halwax in that it seemed like Wayne knew he was leaving.

I think O'Shea was injured, Halwax was still around the squad whereas there was no sign of O'Shea so would suggest an injury but he could have just as easilly been exiled for all I know.

Ugbesia and Egan back on board. We might have lost 3 or 4 starters at the beginning of the window but we've 3 lads signed who will be first choice. And I imagine Egan will start if he's not injured. Slowly coming together now

Nothing yet. FAI Connect was my gospel for this stuff the last couple years but it hasn't been updating, maybe they've started cracking down on it and letting the clubs announce first, seeing as we knew the whole Town squad last February before the club announced most of them.

It does say Ibrahim is at a different club though, and I hope that to be accurate

I thought after the Doran announcement there would be an avalanche of stuff but it's very quiet. Hopefully more news soon

Yeah, it's a pity about the lack of announcements. Especially since 3 starters are gone.

Alex O'Brien the latest to be announced. We're up to 6 players confirmed now.

Drogs in the Leinster Senior Cup at the weekend will surely reveal more - open to correction but I don't think we'll be able to name trialists in the team for that due to it being a "competitive" game.

I had heard over Christmas that we had 12 or 13 signed up. Not sure if it's true, but if it is, I'm not sure what the delay in rolling them out is.

Anyway, half way to a starting 11...

This is 2 years in a row now they've been at this sh1te of not announcing players. I refuse to believe we don't have more than 6 lads signed up now. Like you I've heard we've certain lads who are apparently staying on. I see Luke O'Brien from Harps is now down with us on FAI Connect, so why hasn't he been announced? No mention of friendlies or LSC games coming up this month. These are basics like

I think so. That would explain the gap FAI connect.

Looks like Andy Spain is not down against us in FAI connect anymore so he could be moving on.

Conor Errity (18 bohs) is down against us in connect.
Also Daniel McKenna from Athlone.

Currently it looks like the squad from last year ( minus Eric, Oisin etc...) and some younger defenders to replace the folks who left.

No idea who or who isn't staying, I've also seen the names coming and going on FAI Connect so I've no idea why there hasn't been more announced.

Very little detail on pre season fixtures, it doesn't seem the way to build excitement for a new season. Then again, if we win our first give games we'll soon have a buzz about us but I'd agree that things need to improve on the communication side of things.

I thought you could play trialists in LSC but could be wrong on that

Looking at 2 pics Bohs put up from the friendly with them tonight, I think it looks like Aaron Walsh in the first one and Cole Omorehiomwan in the second one.

Both of those guesses could well be wrong.

We lost 2-1 too.
