If he hits the ground running and reproduces his Drogs form, he could be a game changer for Galway. Fancied them for the drop before a ball was kicked because I didn't see where their goals would come from - this could change things big time though.
Don't forget that Pierrott had a really really difficult start at Drogheda and it was only after DJT arrived that he hit form. He doesn't have a player of that quality alongside him at Galway so he's not certain to save them but given how direct are and his strength and power you'd fancy him to do well.

Maleace Asamoah has signed for rovers on loan until the end of the season. Great signing that, he looked an absolutely rapid winger when he was with Waterford a couple of years ago. Got a red card for Wigan on Saturday so presumably will be suspended for the next 3 games for rovers

Shams have made some annoyingly good signings. Always liked the look of Sobowale when he was in the league too.

It's our best squad on paper under Bradley. And you know what that means? You'll win the double.
22 leagues and 26 cups and....well....none of you will ever catch up if we're being honest.

I don't understand it at all. Sobowale has never really impressed me. He's powerful and fast, but there's no football in him at all. He was woeful at Harps.

We've plenty of footballers. Pace and power and someone to cover for Grant is what we needed. He did ok last night in a bad team performance.

Farrugia wasn't the best footballer either and he did just fine.

Loan signing for Sligo Sean McHale has a big future in football if he can keep fit.

An excellent excellent player, when on the pitch.

Shels signed centre-back Zeno Ibsen Rossi on loan from Cambridge United until July which ties up with the feared word on the street that Paddy Barrett and Odhran Casey injuries picked up from the Galway match will put both of them out until April/May time

I don’t think he was good with us either. He was one of the better U19 players in that league, you could argue his best position is midfield. We’ve never seen it though as he played full back. He was a power house as an attacking full back. But as an actual defender he wasn’t very good, his pace got him out of trouble a lot. Constantly out of position, and his defending and decision making around his own box was terrible. He just wasn’t a good defender and when it came to defending his box he was very consistent at giving away free kicks in dangerous areas and penalties, especially when the opponent player had their back to goal. I honestly never understood the hype, he was a liability to the team to be honest. I was happy we replaced him. We’d a better player on the bench in Darragh Power, I’d rate the recent Bohs as one of the fullbacks in the LOI. As a full back, Power is much better then the new Rovers signing

I agree. I don’t understand the hype, best in mode attack but poor defender. Some Waterford fans loved him and I never understood it, still don’t understand it. Personally thought he was a liability for us. I’d like to see him play a run of games in the middle of the park, don’t think he’s cut out to be a fullback

As long as the paperwork is done before the deadline, the announcement can wait afaik. Wexford announced one as well.

Timothy Martin, 24-year-old Luxembourg/Belgian pro-goalkeeper has re-signed for Cobh Ramblers for the remainder of the 2026 season. Great competition for No. 1 Corey Chambers.

Turns 36 in August. Was never exactly blessed with pace. Good chance this one ends up in tears too. Another lad coming home when it's probably a year or two too late.

If it goes to plan he should at least help organise the defensive mess they’ve been in recent weeks. If it doesn’t go to plan it looks like it could be another Damien Delaney when he returned to the league and was absolutely woeful for Cork
