Luke Heeney signed by Waterford
Luke Heeney signed by Waterford
Irish by birth ,Harps by the grace of god.
Delighted Luke is staying in the premier division and not heading up the M1. The lad gives 100% all of the time and hopefully gets the minutes he's after.
We have added Ethan O'Brien to our midfield ranks who has decent experience at lower level in US but also made a couple of MLS squads. He's the type of player we need but whether he's any use remains to be seen. Owen Lambe signed last season with similar experience and that has worked out very well for us so hopefully Ethan follows in his footsteps.
Well played BM !
#DundalkFC - First Irish club to win an away game in Europe (1963), only Irish club to win a game / points in Europa League Group Stage (2016).
Mark Doyle back at Drogheda. Ethan O'Brien (Huntsville City FC) also signed. https://droghedaunited.ie/category/news/
"oh my, that was some beer we had last night, I think I feel like getting sick" Effin Eddie
Yeah, I think so. Brandon Kavanagh too. Like the other Pats supporters who've commented here, I'm not overly excited at the signing of Max Mata. We have a bit of a knack of signing "Name" strikers who don't live up to the billing (all the way back to Marcus Hallows). Hopefully we are wrong and he bangs the goals in. We'll see. Oh for a prime Christy Fagan.
Out for a spell, got neglected, lay on the bench unselected.
Ben Doherty was modelling at the new kit launch in Derry yesterday, so maybe we can assume he isn't away to Bohs.
Always thought Mata was slightly over hyped. Scored a lot of goals against the weaker sides before his move. In saying that, he's decent at dropping in and bringing others into play, perhaps himself and Keena could be a dream partnership
Galway signed Matty Wolfe. Not a great sign when Sligo are signing one of your best players and you're bringing in a lad who wasn't good enough for them.
Is he tall? First condition on JCs recruitment instructions, doesnt matter whether he has no feet.
Hearing Ronan Boyce has turned down a new deal, and is away to Pat's. Was also offered a contract from Bohs.
I've be sorry to see him go. Not irreplaceable, but he's been solid with us for the past five years and played most games. Would be a good signing for Pat's.
That said, defence has been our biggest issue, so can't complain with things being freshened up.

Athlone Town sign midfielder Brian McManus formerly of Shels and Bohs, most recently of UCD.
Conan Noonan staying aw Waterford, more game time there than bench warming at rovers I guess, very good young lad he’s been impressive any time I’ve seen him
They've paid Rovers 50k for him too. Big investment from the the owners.
