Best is easy one for Kerry fans. Sligo in the cup.
Worst not so easy ,though I remember the loss to Ucd back in March at home because Kerry were dire and so was the game.
90th minute equalizer away to Dundalk was nice. Second half capitulation against Wexford when their CB scored a hat trick to put us out of promotion contention was grim
Best game was the win in Talaght against Bohs and worst game was probably the last game against Sligo,
I was away and missed the Bohs 2-3 or that would have made the cut 100%, i thought about putting the first Dalymount loss down as well as we were abject in that but the Sligo game was such a poor game to attend as the whole thing felt like such an anti climax, even the trophy lift was half hearted
Best was Castlebar away in the cup. And honourable mention to the 3-2 at home to Kerry near the stsrt of season, that was huge just to get a win on the boaed after how long it took the season before.
Worst was losing away to Treaty 5-1. A waste of a journey
Best was the cup semifinal vs Pats. Worst? Several to choose from. I'd go with losing 2-3 to Sligo after being 2-0 up.
Best game just has to be Shels away to Bohs two weeks ago 2-3 comeback Kerr McInroy thumper in the 7th minute of stoppage time to secure European football, epic stuff
Worst game was Shels 0-1 defeat to Drogheda at Tolka back in March absolute muck painful stuff to watch, worst thing anyone can do in any LOI football match is give that super defensive impressively resolute Drogheda team an early goal, I think it was 86 minutes of Shels passing the ball around the 18 yard box after going that goal down
The Leinster Senior League needs a strong Bohemians
Worst was any of the games on the farmer's field that was the Bowl in the first month or two of the season. Special mention to last Sunday, when Pat's scored in the 96th minute of the last game of the U17 league, after our own game had finished, to knock us off the top of the table. We like the UEFA Youth League at UCD!
Best - probably the topsy-turvy 3-2 win over Bray in August, which gave hope of beating them in the playoffs (it was already fairly clear we'd be facing them). Special mention to the 1-0 defeat against Dundalk in April, though in general our home form was pretty poor.
Every game in Finn Park simultaneously can claim best and worst game this season.
Worst games, every one I couldnt go to, best games every one I couldnt go to!
Best for me was Rovers swatting aside the supposed title favourites pats 4:0. Very much a get-back-in-your-box result and hugely enjoyable.
I've a feeling the worst is gonna be tomorrow night in athens cos I fear a shellacking from aek.
League wise, the game in landsdowne was pretty underwhelming both in terms of atmosphere , result and the location, the north stand there is woeful for watching a game- I'm shelling out for a premium seat in the east stand on Sunday.
Best game for me this season the FAI Cup Semi-Final at TC, Cork City 3-0 v St. Pats!
Any other game at TC as City were poor for most of them!
The best game for Wexford men this season was the 4-3 defeat of Kerry after being 3-1 down at halftime and a player down. The first game against Dundalk in Ferrycarrig, where we lost 3-2, was also a great performance. The worst game was the 2-0 defeat to Treaty in the final league game of the season where a win would have secured a play-off spot. We were so flat in that game and possibly showed how much we relied on Mikie Rowe who was suspended.
In the case of Wexford women, the undoubted highlight was the winning of the All-Island Cup on penalties against Bohs - made us one of only two clubs to win major silverware this season. The final game of Kylie Murphy's magical career, when she scored a hat-trick against Cork City, had me almost in a state of disbelief. The worst was the 6-1 drubbing we copped off Shels in Ferrycarrig when a win would have given us a chance in the league - an absolute pasting.
Worse game the ****ehawk in Mounthawk, best beating Shams to stay up.
