I phrased that really badly so Ill go again, I hope we make Wexfords result tonight count tomorrow v Longford as UCD next is hit or miss, at least it feels that UCD is more miss than hit for us. Would take pressure off where its not all must win games with that last game in Cobh giving them a sniff if a couple of results swing. Dont know why I said away as I was after looking to see whch game I might get to, UCD or Harps.
He had one tonight where maybe he got the benefit if the doubt from the ref and got a free, but generally his handling on crosses is excellent.
We should have won tonight. Had the chances, Luke Turner in particular missed a sitter right at the death. Two point dropped. Special mention to the Galway players who were sitting behind the away dugout, a supremely annoying bunch. On their feet every couple of minutes screaming for decisions. They must learn it off Caulfield. Bit of handbags at the end too with some of the Pats supporters (Who really should have known better).
Out for a spell, got neglected, lay on the bench unselected.
Seriously? You're moaning about players looking for decisions for their team? Typical Dub team that doesn't like it when teams don't role over for them. Saw some Pats players refusing to shake hands with GUFC players after the game. ****ebags. Pats are well able to go and were crowding Harvey trying to influence him over and over, and then we're not going to mention Pats players diving all game, Mulreaney's was an embarrassment.

Oh no, did the culchies dare to upset you all? So so sorry.
Probably gave Mulraney some gip as well when he once again tried to cheat his way to a penalty. There is a breed of scummer that sits in that section of the stand behind the away ‘dugout’, older fellas mainly, that should really be weeded out of the place.
But good luck for the rest of the season.

Galways fans sounding like Cork fans 10 years ago! Caulfield has been a pain in the ars€ screaming for everything on the sideline for years and winds his players up to do the same. If it works it works but dont be so hurt about it. Caulfields sides are set up to be physical then they flip if anyone dares to play around them. Do you not remember Cork fans trying to have tackling banned for everyone else?? I know its stressfull at the foot of the table so have a pass - any jack in the box in a seated stand is a head wrecker tbf never mind a bunch of them.
You really have to get that chip off your shoulder with the Dublin country thing. This isn’t the GAA in the seventies. How relevant to anything that happened last night is where either team is from in the country it’s 2025 for gods sake. A bit of passion from either bench’s isn’t a bad thing imo. It got both the players and the fans wound up and created a bit of drama. We had an enough clear cut chances to win the match but didn’t.
That was a strange Shels performance last night played most of it with little urgency before conceding a sloppy goal and we resumed it again after our equaliser seemed to be content with a draw. It's been performances like that this season resulting in too many draws why our European hopes for next season are hanging in the balance
The Leinster Senior League needs a strong Bohemians
Cork v Dundalk is over. Your manager has moved on. It's time you do too.
No chip. And I couldn't care less about the GAA and never have.
Pats showed last night that they can't take it, it's hilarious to see their fans then turning their ire on us as an excuse for falling short once again. The level of arrogance that some Pats fans have is astounding, they clearly feel that sides like us should just roll over and give them the points, and when they don't get their way, they react like how they did last night and deflect. That very expensively put together Pats team have beaten us inside 90 minutes once this season. The way some of their fans go on, you'd think they're prime Barca, then hilariously referring to us as a team of "hatchet men". I wish we were even half as bad as some make it, but it's just a lazy take. However it doesn't say much for Pats that they could only beat us once in the league this season does it.

A lucky enough win last night but other results definitely went in our favour. Could do with a couple of draws on Monday in games involving European spot rivals.
We are not great at all but are in an ok position, coming into the home stretch. It’s going to make for a very exciting finish to the season.
Straightforward enough win for us over Kerry last night - confirms us in the play-offs, almost certainly to play Bray.
9 wins and 2 draws in our last 11 games - serious bit of form coming into the play-offs. Have beaten Bray in our last two games too, and if Galway's slump continues then we could yet be in line for a season of being hammered next season.
Harps really should have beaten Bray fairly comfortably last night but completely sh1t the nest in the second half. We've thrown away so many points this season we'd be secure enough in the playoffs if we didn't continuously shoot ourselves in the foot. Its really disappointing
Really? To me it looks like you’re the only one that’s losing your head given the amount of words you’ve put into your several posts ranting about the game last night. I mean you’ve called your manager being told to f-off by Gartland “shameful” for gods sake![]()
Anyways on the game itself, Pats have nobody to blame but themselves for not winning that last night. Brendan Clarke was deserved man of the match but I still feel with the chances created one or two of them should’ve been buried. A silly challenge from Forrester for the peno and once Galway took the lead it was always going to be tough for Pats to come back and win it given how hardworking, organised and dogged Galway are as a team. A shame the chance at the end fell to Luke Turner rather than say Carty or it may well have been a goal. Hickey was unfortunate before that but the ball clearly struck his arm as the multiple angles on the replays showed so it was the right call to give the free out

Mulraney's dive was shameful. Not Gartland's constant mouthing like a little chihuahua, that's nothing new. I found it hilarious how Tony moaned about Caulfield's behaviour when you have some of the biggest weasels in the LOI on the sideline. Butter wouldn't melt. No self awareness.
roddy collins you're a flanker you're a flanker!
No self awareness gave me a great laugh, Caulfield picks up cards and sendings off for sport Olander, probably more so than any manager in the country over the last number of yearsAgree on Mulraney’s dive. Anything to say about Hurley raking 6 studs down an opponents calf from behind to stop an attack? Leavy limping away after the match showing the stud marks to his teammate, thankfully wasn’t something more serious, cowardly tackle I’m sure you can agree given your superior self awareness to everyone
Paaatrick's Agletic
Does he? Since you're so aware, how many reds has Caulfield picked up over the last two years in the Premier? Yeah I'm sure it was hilarious, some of the biggest weasels in the LOI in Pats backroom, having a go at another team's backroom staff for their behaviour, absolutely gas stuff alright. Again, a lot of self awareness at play there.
Poor Leavy will be better before he gets married, the poor lad.
roddy collins you're a flanker you're a flanker!
Ouch that nearly hurt....if I havent moved on from DVDs....
Your manager hasnt moved on from the 1980s, potentially getting a 2nd side relegated with big budgets. Doesnt make fans whinging about Dublin bias or manic headless chicken in the technical area/stand any less tiresome be it 10 years ago or today. A former Dundalk manager once strangely said pressure is for tyres, seems its for Galway fans too!
Some spoofing. Big budgets eh. Who in the Division do Galway United have a bigger budget than? Drogheda, maybe slightly bigger than Sligo. Definitely relative to Cork and Waterford. Clueless comment. You think we're able to compete with the likes of Pats who brought Mulraney back from the States where he was earning 5/6k a week in the MLS, Forrester etc. Pats blew us out of the water for Kazeem for example. Don't let that stop your waffling though.
Get over Caulfield, he can't hurt you anymore.
