So, when you pull off the best result in the club's history, how do you follow that up? Victory in our last visit to Belfield proved to be Conor McCarthy's final game at the helm, though as we later learnt, the intention had been to bring in Healy at the start of the season. No new injury concerns appear to have emerged, so there should be virtually a full squad to select from, bar the long-term absentees. The Students are in particularly excellent home form, winning their last three matches at the Bowl, so if we can scramble a draw on Friday, and top that with victory in Athlone, it'll be a more than satisfactory return from a double-header.

Don't know about the players but I have barely recovered from last Friday night. Agree four points from Friday Monday would be a great return. Players playing for semi final places now so hopefully no let up.

Patchy performance, played well at times and error prone at times too. Didn’t deserve to go in at half time 1 down, disappointing to concede again from a set piece. Were very open in the 2nd half chasing the game and it was inevitable when their second came. Did well to fight back and make a game of it. Could easily have come home with a point, but not to be.
