Should have been a goal or two in that first half, and maybe a sending off for Bradley-Walsh.
Harps finally got a goal on after 70 odd minutes, but fair play to Longford who kept plugging away to get the equaliser. It doesn't do them much good though, they needed to win that.
Harps will be raging to give up that lead late on, and then moreso to see Treaty get a late winner against UCD.

Dundalk drop points away to Wexford, Cobh do the same away to Kerry. Dundalk will stumble over the line in this league, it seems, with Cobh, who have had enough chances to close the gap, to get dumped out in the playoffs by the PD team.
    You’re discounting Bray !

It would never be any other way but it would do nicely! Fair play to Kerry, they have disrupted things at the top tonight especially. Few teams in a promotion hunt just give up but it has to be hard for Cobh to have dropped a bunch of chances to overtake Dundalk and take much more than frustration out of tonight. Pressure is building, 6 games to go, 6 points to bridge (Dundalk to play Athlone still though I wont forget 94'95 in terms of formalities and Cobh v Bray that night) +GD and H2H with he top two to meet. 3 points will be huge for Dundalk next week, a Bray win and they have sniff and Cobh to play. Its too fecking close!!

Didn't realise how poor of a run they have been on, quick glance and seems their last league win was May, that is just brutal for a PD club, oh I'd say almost nailed on now to finish 9th with this run.
#DundalkFC - First Irish club to win an away game in Europe (1963), only Irish club to win a game / points in Europa League Group Stage (2016).

Absolutely agree let's get a change , way better managers out there locally Noel O'Connor and Aidan Ryan have done a stellar Job with the LDSL Kennedy cup squads the last few years . Get them back in the hot seat and the results will change and crowds will improve big time . Barrett was there in the glass house I saw a few kids shouting up to him at HT and seemed to be on the phone a lot . Could be in more trouble after his wreckless sending off in harps . Ian Baraclough was there too . Wonder will it be him or will treaty stay local and appoint two legends of the game here in Limerick and maybe ever poach away the mighty Dave dineen from Limerick carew united . Then we will see the magic football Limerick deserves .

Back to the Sean Connor's days of needing to beat Bray to stay up.

Joey O’Brien doing such a fine job at Shels. You can see why a lot of his former teammates said he was always destined for management.

I always thought it would be a shoe-in that Joey would go into management,at Rovers Bradley credited him with being a real influence on the team winning the league for the first time in 9 yrs in 2020. He's very well respected by fellow pros, and has a no nonsense approach to what's needed to be successful.
In my jaundiced view of shels, duff was the monkey but Joey was the organ grinder
