Great performance - could have won it, could have lost it, but we'd certainly have taken the draw going into the game. Should certainly provide a major confidence boost going into the Cobh and Sligo matches.
Much as everyone would prefer a focus on attacking football whenever possible, there are times when parking the bus not only becomes a priority, but unavoidable, and playing a team who've scored thirteen goals in their last two games is certainly one of those occasions! That said, the arrivals of both Matt Connor and Ewan Lee have definitely shored up our defence considerably, with three clean sheets and just two goals conceded over our last five matches. Colin Healy has confirmed that both Ronan Teahan and Seán McGrath will be available for selection on Friday, while if Seán O'Connell takes to the field at all, he will become our second centurion (incidentally, the Longford match was our 100th league game). Discipline will be crucial if we're to pick up a point on the night, with Kevin Williams' dismissal last week our sixth of the campaign, which hardly does much for our reputation in that regard among the rest of the division.

Some performance by the team. Stayed calm when the pressure came on and responded brilliantly for 2 of the Dundalk goals. All played well but Carl and Ronan were outstanding.
Dare I say we are moving in the right direction.
Superb performance, full of guts, skill and determination. We can mix it with bigger teams now having beaten Cobh and taken a point on the road to Dundalk.
Thought we closed out the last 20 mins brilliantly when it looked like we were on the ropes. Lads put in a huge shift tonight. Ronan has played in about 5 different positions over the course of 2 games in Oriel this year - shows the trust Healy has in him.
The most pleasing aspect was how we battled back after setbacks - scoring twice immediately after conceding. No fear or feeling sorry for ourselves - everyone has a job to do so get on with it.. brilliant.
