    Bosco

In an exclusive interview between Bosco and a freelance journalist that was never published, Bosco was asked the following question.

Freelance Journalist: I see that your cheeks are very red!

Bosco: Wouldn't your cheeks be red if someone had their hand shoved up your a**e all the time!

Anymore jokes about that famous puppet that brainwashed us all in our innocent days and warned us to be careful when using a scissors.

The most remembered line from Philip Tyler, David Byrne, Marion Richardson and Grainne ??, Frank Twomey and all the crew was Knock Knock, Open Wide. Knock Knock, Come With Me Through The Magic Door and it was usually a visit to Dublin Zoo.

What about Grainne Grainneog and The Tongue Twisters. Both silly and wouldn't it be nice that they all make a comeback with a more adult theme since Bosco's captive audience are now all adults. Imagine Bosco using foul and abusive language!

Even our fellow forumite, Bosco from Longford can make a contribution towards that famous puppet. Looking at Bosco's top, something tells me that he is a closet Bray Wanderers fan (or Real Betis).

    Bosco for President of Ireland!!

Whatever it was I am sure it was better than my plan to get out of this by pretending to be mad. I mean, who would have noticed another madman around here?

Grainne ?? was actually Grainne Kerrigan. I just could not think of the name last night.

I was at Electric Picnic this year and Bosco made a suprise return. It was amazing to see 3000-4000 people chanting his name and to hear him sing the timeless classics Tidy Up and This Is Where I Live.
He returned for an encore after the crowd chanted One More Tune for what seemed like an age.

He's still an annoying little ginger **** though.

One of the presenters (think her name was Mary or Marie) worked for a time in a national schoolon the northside of Limerick city and used be bombarded by Bosco questions.
One day she was apparently asked by a girl in second class (8 years old? I'm guessing) "Miss d'y'know Phillip (pronounced Fill-Up) from Bosco?"
    "Is Fill-Up a steamer Miss?"
" I wish to God that someone would be able to block out the voices in my head for five minutes, the voices that scream, over and over again: "Why do they come to me to die?"

This eight year old must have fancied Philip Tyler.

best story was undoubtedly, Zig and Zag shouting 'Bosco is a b o l l o x' in the background with Ian Dempsey laughing in the background during an ad break on the Den!

Bosco puppets actually come from Strokestown in Roscommon. Anyone watching reeling in the years will have seen a well known Town fan with his hand up bosco's arse back around 1980. FACT.
If you attack me with stupidity, I'll be forced to defend myself with sarcasm.

P.S. Would your destination be what KLF is about; also known as the Justified Ancients of Mu Mu; furthermore known as the JAMMS?

I only have the tape version plus the Cassette single of the Tammy Wynette version of Justified and Ancient. Hope to get it on CD shortly. Most intelligent dance music album ever IMO.

Was your man's hand covered in diahorrea? . Could that Longford Town fan be a contributor to foot.ie with the thread title? Bosco, can you confirm or deny that you had your hand up Bosco's ass at a Longford Town game circa 1980?

I see that Bosco made the headlines on The Star recently......

He was shortlisted as one of the group that the FAI should NOT ask to take over the Irish soccer team!!

Glad that someone on RTE spoke the truth. Surely it has nothing to do with Ian Dempsey moving to Today FM and Zig and Zag chucked over to Channel Four to do The Big Breakfast.
