    Paul Nebel m Mainz (2003)

Was browsing transfermarkt and was surprised to see there's a midfielder worth 22 million that's Irish eligible.

Quick browse of the internet and it seems he hasn't ruled out playing for ya and has been playing the politics well on keeping both options open. Apparently HH hasn't made contact although that's an article from January.

Anyone know much about him? I know we're not crying out for right wingers but he looks like a great player.

(Sorry if this has been discussed before but I couldn't find a thread on him)

Would be a great get but is likely to get Germany caps at some point, so definitely a long shot I'd say.

Scored the equaliser for Germany in the U21 final against England this evening - England went 2-0 up quickly, but it's 2-2 now.

Judging by that performance he’d be our best player

I suppose so long as he is still qualified to play for us ~ ~ Perhaps he is our best player ~ ~ Certainly potentially our best player ~ ~ Can't see it happening though ( sadly )
