An injury time double for Bohs against Pat's and Alan Reynolds is on course for manager of the month![]()
Dreadful first half from Harps in Cobh, but a good bit of fight shown in the second half and created plenty of chances, so some positives to take from it. Cobh playing some really decent football at times. Treaty next week is huge for us already.

Some limbs at Dalymount !
Harps were very much second best for the majority of the night but still showed a fair bit of fight towards the end, made plenty of chances ...

Mental , and Drogs remain top, and 7th placed Derry are 3 off the top!
A very good first half entertaining and it would have be wrong for Pats to win in on the penalty. Bohs were absolutely fantastic and deserved at least a draw but to win it was even better and Bohs POSSIBLY ever so slightly deserved the win more than Pats. Ref made a few terrible decisions. So in all a really good entertaining game with a soft penalty, one not given , a red card and another late come back. What else would you watch on a Friday night.
That's all on Kenny. Absolutely bizarre management of the game.
7 wins in a row for Bray now,mad run they’re on …..

Three games in a row Bohs substitutions have been game changers, it shows Bohs have the ability to change and adapt as well as a don't lie down attitude. These are the things that make it difficult to be beaten. Buckley hitting hard and winning tackles, giving directions to other players and pushing them on is also a big part of what's happening. He may not have 90 minutes in him but he has enough to pull every bit of energy out of every other player and they respond to him. What a week.BOOM
In Rennie we trust. Crazy finishes this week but fantastic to see us with a bit of fight and finesse.
Obviously Bohs had to go ahead and win the game but Kenny relinquished any control of the game by randomly reverting to a back five and deciding to cling onto a 1-0 with a third of the game remaining. I'm not exaggerating when I say that almost every single outfield player either approached him or motioned to him to ask what the plan actually was as they looked lost with what he'd done. Everyone in the away end was stunned by what we were watching.
The fight not to lie down be beaten is fantastic. Really impressed with what I've seen in the last 10 days. Prior to that there was good football and poor results or poor football and a win, but lately I've been impressed with the quality of football and their will to win. I'm a firm believer in supporting our manager at all costs but there is a breaking point in every person. If the team fight like fcku and loose I can take but when they roll over I loose the will to live. Reynolds said he had the players and quality he wanted and lately he's prooved to us he is correct. They now have to do this week in and week out and that's the hard part.
I think I was at a different game ….. we controlled the game against an average hard working Shels team ( with JB again picking up motm)…. Had enough chances to score at least 5…. Shels in fairness caught us out very badly with two decent crosses which we should have cleared … aside from that they created nothing …. Also it was a good entertaining game ( aside from Duffs usual childlike histrionic behaviours; he’s doing a fine job but at this stage his sideline carry on is becoming an embarrassment )
Didnt see the game but Kerr and McCarthy's tactical defaults late on in games that a side wasnt being battered never worked (5 at the back or in midfield and cede al bunch of metrics). It was groan all round and then a goal conceded. Not sure why Kenny would decide to retreat like it unless Bohs were really pushing on and even then Kenny's to a fault belief in his selected system and players make this a shift in his managerial characteristic ,went to a plan B???! Interesting though.

Bohs deserved that one after a what can only be considered from our point of view as an absolute balls up by Kenny. The second half we aspired to be dreadful and Bohs were the much better team. There is a mix of lads in our squad not doing it and others not up to it. I don’t rate Baggley at all but he isn’t on his own. The minute Forester went off the midfield went missing.
From a Bohs point of view hard to disagree with that. You approached the game very defensively as soon as you got the goal. The time wasting from your keeper was ridiculous and Breslin was the unfortunate one to pick up the card for the time wasting, in the first half no less! That really came back to haunt you with the 6+ minutes added on at the end and the Breslin second yellow. Quite why you went so defensive is beyond me as Bohs are a hard working team but not exactly prolific. We are also ropey in defence with the fullbacks being our biggest weakness. Just bad decisions from your coaching staff all night.
On Bohs that is probably the hardest working team I've seen out there in a long time and I think the fans (myself included) are really starting to appreciate that. I don't know if we can keep this up and trouble the European places but it's nice to be looking up the table instead of down it. I think we need to bring in some reinforcements for the wings (Dayle Rooney just isn't up to it this year) and while Brennan has potential I think he still needs to put on a couple of KGs of muscle before he's a consistent performer in the league. The fullback area is just a disaster, Flores is not a full back and Mountney just doesn't have any pace to cover wingers anymore. Get a couple of lads in in July if at all possible and we might see the defence become a bit more solid because I think in Grehan, Cornwall and Kavanagh there are 3 good CBs there but they are let down by the fullbacks.
How is there that much space for the cross and how is Cornwall in about 7 yards of space for the equaliser? Shocking defending from Pats …..

Think mountney has to play myself, he’s a gritty experienced pro who reads it well. Seldom loses a 50/50, Flores was very good tonight, bucko was brilliant at pulling it together when he got on. This along with cornwalls covering was the vital nous and cuteness we lacked before. Surround these lads with plenty of pace and we look ok.
Agree about young rooney he’s just not reaching his level, I’d maybe stick Archie in there instead, very clever baller.
Thought Rossi and colm w were brilliant.
It's nearly a carbon copy of the goal Rovers got to go 2-1 up last week late on. Everyone at the front post, loads of room at the back post for the opposition.
Disgusted by our 2nd half performance, why we went so defensive so early is beyond me. Forrester is an important player for us but we should be able to cope with him going off better than we did.
