Done and dusted now at 3-1. Croatia it is.
Finally Ludogorets go ahead. They were doing a bit of a Pat’s there.

Couldn't have went much better for Shels in the end. 2 players suspended for next week and the remaining 9 lads forced to play out the 120 minutes. Can't be great preparation.
Shels will be at home in the second leg which is a huge advantage. If the other crowd are starting the home leg without 2 of their attackers maybe Shels chances of coming home with a clean sheet just went from 5 to 25%.
I can't really see them having enough but I hope at the very least the tie is alive for the second leg this time.
Athlone Town ladies absolutely destroyed Cardiff City 4-0 in the champions league qualifier. Should have been more. Superb performance all over the park. 2,000 sell out aswell

It's an unexpected welcome that Shels will be playing the 2nd leg at Tolka, many were expecting a trip on the Luas to Tallaght that night but despite those two suspensions Rijeka still have a bundle of International capped players I'm expecting an similar-ish level opposition to Qarabag
If we could just cut-out things like our strikers scoring own goals, defenders waving arms up in the air in the penalty box, defenders not slowing down if an opponent looks like to be scoring in a 1 on 1 incase the ball rebounds off the post or defenders heading the ball over our keeper we might have a chance of the tie being alive for that 2nd leg at Tolka
The Leinster Senior League needs a strong Bohemians
Even with Athlone in season and Cardiff not, I couldn't get over the difference in fitness levels, Cardiff's legs were gone after 30 minutes, Athlone ran them into the ground and could have won by double that, incredibly one sided. How good was it to see a full stadium, not a seat or parking space to be had. What an occasion
Well done to Athlone! As mentioned above, the gap between the two teams was monstrous. Great performance also by the two commentators, Kieran and Jessica!
Admittedly knowing little enough about the womens game, I was surprised by the scoreline being so emphatic. I know Cardiff's woment dont play in the Englsh system but the club is still a damn big club so you'd think they'd be prepared better, especially on the most basic of things like general fitness. Seems a bit of old Irish League style prep for Europe, though I didnt hear of a manager being off on holidays. I'm presuming the Croats will be a good step up. It is something of a milestone when a senior LoI clubs outstanding performances and largest support is the womens senior team!
Pat’s 1 down
Pat's trail in Estonia coming up to the break. 1-1 on aggregate
Nervy second half ahead potentially
Poor goal to concede. Pats were comfortable for the half, then just fell asleep. For all Pats domination tho they haven’t threatened much. Melia has offered v little imo. Baggley too. Get Keena and Forrester on.
Really, Pats should be winning this tie by 2 or 3, but now it’s all square. Only have themselves to blame. Time to step up.
Pat's will be very annoyed not having put this one to bed last week and they're under pressure now.
Hopefully they can get one back early in the second half and knock some of the belief out of Kaliju.
2-0 now. This is potentially disastrous...
pats are a joke if they cant see this team off, they should have won 5 nil in the home leg, but kenny persists with melia who just never convinces up top.
im presuming forrester will be on now

Shamrock Rovers- Where trophies are won and envy is scarce
Oh Jesus this is bad. What are pats at?? How are they managing to lose to this crowd?
Why was Forrester not starting? Bit of a mad decision, that.
Pats are so much the better team here but can't seem to put it away. Clearly it's an issue that's showing itself in the league this season but they need to find a way
