Thank you.
But in fact there's more to it than that. For if you look at post #'s192 (Stuttgart), #193 (Fixer), #195 (Seanfhear) and #196 (Eirambler), it was THEY who moved the thread off-topic to the All-Ireland theme i.e. before I even posted!
And when I did, I stuck to the merits or otherwise of JD as a player etc.
Yet after all that, it is I who gets the warning in post #204 - not a word to the earlier posters.
Which tbh is just the latest in the usual pattern, whereby someone posts something, I respond, that brings a counter-response, to which I stick up for myself and so on.
While doing so, I invariably avoid being personal, try to back up my posts with facts and evidence and stick to the Rules (letter and spirit),
While very often certain selected posters do nothing of the sort, instead just "piling into the Nordie".
At the end of which, I am the one who gets warned off, not the real offenders.
Now don't get me wrong, I'm not the sort to be deterred by "the usual suspects", since this is an otherwise well run forum, covering a number of interesting topics barely covered elsewhere.
But it seems to me that there are a few on here, possibly including the odd Moderator(?), who would prefer to operate Royston-Vasey style:
