www.godaddy.com is good and very cheap.

GoDaddy won't register IE domain names. Personally I wouldn't touch them with a barge pole, but a lot of my registrations are mission-critical. I guess they're fine for parking or basic stuff.

I use me2uweb.com for a .com address and find them pretty good. Good support and hosting are offered.
