ROFL. You do realise if I was on your ignore list you wouldn't have seen my post? Anyway, back on topic. Cheers Stutts. No need though.

He also missed a sitter in another game too, according to radio 5 Live anyway, missing the ball completely with a wild swipe which hit his standing leg.

To be honest if I saw either him or Elliott given a half-chance late in the game I'd prefer it to be Elliott.
I just read this in the Telegraph write-up on last night's game at Southampton:

As it was, the longer their frenzied attacks failed to bear fruit, there was always a chance a breakaway could reap dividends for Steve Coppell's side and Kevin Doyle spurned a fine chance by heading over when well placed.

When Cyprus came to Dublin, they were dreadful, a lot worse than I expected them to be. I don't keep up with domestic Cypriot soccer (thank God) but apparently they've changed manager since Dublin and have gotten tougher to beat. Sorry but even at our most limpid, we've still managed to beat Cyprus soundly every single time I can remember playing them. I don't imagine this game being tougher than Switzerland at home, I have to disagree with you there Eirebhoy. Then again, I've predicted every single important match wrong this campaign...
