Third highest attendance of the season for them.

Very wierd experience as a Galway United fan being the away team. Maroon Army in the designated away fans section but all around the ground quite mixed.
Maybe 600-700 home Salthill fans and 1800+ away fans in total of 2507

Sounds a bit mad that there were 600-700 Salthill fans considering they would have struggled to have more than 20 or 30 at their home games in Drom when they were in the league. Even their effort as SD Galway rarely attracted more than 100.

Around 30 to 40 Cobh fans in Tralee last night. Most appeared to have left with 10 minutes left

They really made an effort, with a match from Eyre Square to the ground with all the juvenile teams and the parents, was a club night kind of vibe.

Read somewhere that SD have 7 ex Galway Utd players in their ranks last night which could explain the high attendance of SD fans. Mark Ludden ex Galway Utd was one that played for SD. Of course Ollie Horgan is from Salthill too.
Gary Cronin is he the right man to manage Longford Town?
