I'd say, considering they'd more than likely be in the northern section, they'd have to travel to Donegal anyway a couple of times a year.
https://kesslereffect.bandcamp.com/album/kepler - New music. It's not that bad.

Yes - but not Donegal and Cobh, which was what was stated.

If Wexford and Kerry can make LOI football work havng to travel from the edges of the country to the other end, then I see no reason why Castlebar couldn't also manage to do so covering just half the ciountry and from a less fringe location.

Derry-Drogheda on TV and it's on the Saturday evening.
Perhaps it's an idea to have the TV cup game on a standalone date?

An earlier kick-off would have suited the Drogs fans more, but RTÉ calling the shots, and mightn't have been the biggest audience for a mid-afternoon match.

The Friday is the first night of the Premier League and Liverpool are on TV

Id imagine RTE don't want to be showing a game at the same time.

Could always have gone with Sunday. Now that the GAA & womens Euros are over, there's not much sport for them on Sundays.

I'd have thought Saturday evening was too prime-time for them to show LOI

Unlikely there’d go up against (or anywhere either side of) a Man United vs Arsenal 16:30 kickoff on the sunday

Just checking for this Saturday night, and on RTÉ2 it's a Nuremberg trials documentary and a mediocre film. Summer might be a bit of an off-season for TV.

Rarely get animated on here but am disgusted to see children's classic 'Charlotte's Web' described as mediocre.
    'Simon's Webb'....now that was mediocre

    FAI Cup Round 3

    Friday 15th August

    Finn Harps v Bray Wanderers
    Kerry v Cobh Ramblers
    Cork City v Waterford
    Salthill Devon v Galway United
    Bohemians v Sligo Rovers

    Saturday 16th August

    Derry City v Drogheda United

    Sunday 17th August

    Shamrock Rovers v Longford Town
    St. Pats v Shelbourne

What do most consider the most attractive game from the Friday fixtures?

Obviously the Saturday game is on TV and on Sunday the Pats v Shels game is the obvious choice!

Looking forward to An ClassicĂn in Galway on Friday night, should be a bit of craic. It'll be nice to be at a non-segregated match

I think Pats Shelbourne is the big match of the weekend, both currently outside Europe places for next season so the cup is mega important to both.
Im hoping for a draw for the next round of ,
Harps, Kerry,Cork,Galway,Sligo, Drogs,Shamrock Rovers, Shels,.....and we are at home to Kerry

    When is the draw?

RTE are showing Derry Drogs game Sat. That would be my game of weekend, Think Derry ave really lost their form since losing to Sligo so ave to make Drogs heavy favs to win!
Gary Cronin is he the right man to manage Longford Town?

Sure there would be no realistic way to segregate there even if they wanted to "Could Galway supporters please stand behind the section of taped off sideline to the left of the entrance gate to the pitch cage, and Devon fans behind the taped-off section of sideline to the right of the gate

What sort of crowd is likely for this game, as once you get beyond 100-150 people then Drom is just useless for spectators.
