Good regional mix alright. If Derry win tomorrow - possibility of an Ulster derby, Dublin derby, Munster derby and a Connacht derby.

    A Championship: 4 years - 8 first teams - 0 financially ruined. First Division '14: 7 first teams.
Opportunity lost for new clubs/regions to join the LoI family.

Used to be neutral about English teams. Worked in pubs in Belfast for a few years. Now it's anyone but Liverpool. Anecdotally, they appear like the most anti-LoI/IL of all the English club fans.

Enjoyable evening tonight flicking between games, even if none went to ET. Switched over the Harps one in the first half. Harps looked decent, controlled the game.
Cork also seemed to be good, and Waterford not at all. Poor showing in the second half from them, and Cork looked comfortable even when Waterford were trying to pile on the pressure later on. Cork were great at killing the game, wasting time, buying fouls. Horrible to watch, but you'd love it if it was your team.
Sligo full value for their win? They're just hot and cold at the moment.

Apart from the second half on Sunday we’ve been excellent for the last 2 months

Really good performance from Harps tonight. Reacted well to going a goal down and really could have scored more too.

Gives a bit of hope for the last quarter of the season.

Just an awful performance from Bohs with a baffling team section from the manager too. I don't know what has happened to Talbot but he can't seem to even take a goal kick anymore, he's a shell of the player he was. Love Bucko too, but he shouldn't be starting important games at this stage of his career.

The less said about some other the better, but I wouldn't shed a tear if Parsons isn't here next season. I'm repeating myself at this stage but how Kavanagh managed to get a new deal in the summer is one of the more bizarre decisions I've seen in a while by a club.

Fair play to Sligo though, Russell has them set up well and with Elding, Fitzgerald, Hakiki and O'Kane they have a very exciting front four.

On this, I honestly think a part of the reason why the loi has gotten some buy in from Irish people post pandemic is how ****e Man united have been and their fans looking for any alternative. Stands to reason Liverpool fans have been more stubborn.

I don't think it's the hottest take to say if LOI attendances would double.

For the European prize money on offer, bad losses for Bohs and Waterford. Cobh and Bray are comfortably in the playoffs. The top 3 in the First Division should be able to have a good cut at going for the cup.

Harps controlled the game well. Again as bad a refereeing performance as you'll see! Hoping for Kerry, Derry or Sligo at home in the quarters. Defo going to be Cork away though. 4th year in 6 in the quarters

Yeah, I've been impressed with Sligo any time I've seen them, and they were worthy swimmers last night. You were unlucky with the sending off last Sunday, and it could have been a different result with 11 v 11. (Having said that, Pats still had to take advantage, which we did well). Have always had a lot of time for Sligo as a club, and I'd like to see them make it to the Aviva (except if they meet us along the way of course)
Out for a spell, got neglected, lay on the bench unselected.

Damien McGraith continued his good vein of form in Finn Park, handing out 14 yellows and a red card. Ignored another stonewall red card for a two footed lunge and gave a number of bizarre decisions too. You think he'd be on the lookout for a calm and reasonable performance after the headlines he's been grabbing lately.

Or maybe he likes the headlines!
Manager: Fergal, have you your boots with ya?
Fergal: Ya, I have them here.
Manager: Ah good stuff, well give them to this man so, he forgot his!

Seen in the Irish Sun today that Owen Elding is being scouted by a few foreign clubs one of them Juventus! Cant see him lasting the full season considerin his rate of progress!
Gary Cronin is he the right man to manage Longford Town?

Drogheda are possibly the worst team in the division to give a lead to
