Galway United 2-1 Kilkenny City
taken from http://www.galwayunitedfc.ie/
United take on Kilkenny City in Terryland Park on Friday evening. City are a point ahead of United in the League after spectacularly turning their season around in the last three months. United must plan without two goal hero last weekend Eric Lavine and Captain Nigel Keady as both are suspended. Ronan Frawley will probably move into the centre of defence with either Alan Keane or Nicky Curran slotting into the right back spot. Dave Goldbey may start along side David O'Dowd upfront or John Russell might play in front of the midfield supporting O'Dowd.
ko:: 7.30pm, Oct 7th, Terryland Park
Match pub sponsor:: Crowes Bar
Previous meetings this season
>> League:: drew 0-0 (away) April 2nd
>> League:: lost 0-1 (home) May 27th
>> League:: won 2-0 (away) Aug 1st

I'm not even gonna try and predict a score in case i jinx it

BTW i think you have too much time on your hands, that you spotted that![]()
I predict a fairly poor attendance (yes, even worse than usual) and no noise, due to the amount of our supporters in Cyprus.
what do ye think the starting team will be?
Gough
Curran
Clery
Frawley
Casey
Goldbey
Harty
Fortune
Russell
O'Reilly
O'Dowd
5 in midfield (with Russell occasionally pushing forward helping O'Dowd as the lone striker)
.. the absence of Rash, Stokesy and Hughesy will see Terryland change from a flaming claudron of passion into a morgue![]()
I thought Yourself, GUFCT & co, Brian & Daniel & co......etc were going also?Originally Posted by Patrick Dunne
