    2013 & 2014 goals

Just linking these 2 videos in here in case people want to have them. They were made private at one point so I emailed the production company a while back to ask could they be made available again. They responded saying it was because of the music and they were getting claims or strikes etc. So thankfully they agreed to make them unlisted, meaning you can view it but only if you have the link. Would have been a pity if they were lost.

Some great goals from some great matches in those 2 great seasons

Great find MM I havent seen these goals in well over a decade. That two seasons were great seasons for the club. I loved those seasons cos there was a great unity between the players, fans and board but those days are gone. I very much doubt we will get these sort of players again.

They were great years. I know Cousins got a lot of stick for how it all ended but I still love him for those years where we slowly got better in the first div season after season. Great to have those videos too there's some special goals in there. That Bray playoff is a heartbreaker I'll never forget

Yeah I noticed from those videos that the 2013 season had bigger home crowds. That Bray game was the 2nd biggest disappointment in my life after being stuck in dublin airport and not going to the FC Lovech game in Bulgaria!got my money back eventually.

Great videos to lookback on MoydowMonty, thanks for posting.
You are right about Cousins, I don't think we ever fully appreciated what he did for the club at the time....he took the club from basically where they are right now and gradually built better teams as the seasons went on and got us promoted.
It's a sight also that even though its a little over 10 years ago, but some of the random players who I forgot played for the club, Derek O'Brien, Peter Hynes and David O'Neill.
But what a goal machine Davy O'Sullivan was.....great great times to be a Town fan.

No word of a lie Sully would still do a job now, he was even leaner in the legends game than he was with us in his prime. Still banging them in for his local side, what a player.
