totally agree with you but my original point was he isnt aswell known as the 1s you named and thats what counts for the OT im afraid.Brenadan Hughes is in it cos of his name ive seen him this year with the view and his being rubbish.Originally Posted by abbeyvale
Its all politics and thats whats costing the LDL from not winning the comp every year. Why not get in a manager that will pick the strongest team from the league and pick from all the teams in the leagues. When they do that, then give the players some incentive for playing.Originally Posted by Roadend
Very true ...I have not seen the ot manager at any of our matches this year so how is he supposed to know whats going on..
not that knowledgable on the Limerick junior scene myself, besides the Carew contingent are the others worth their place in the squad??
I suppose everyone would have there different 11 ..its not a bad squad considering but there is better players out there..
is it the same anthony cusack that played schoolboy for granville and fairview?
ya thats the bloke was never any good but in fairness to him his stuck at it and now his being discussed on the internet.maybe Mr.Reddan might log on here and take note.do they read this in 'AN POST'?Originally Posted by lim abroad
who thinks he should be in the squad?
It depends on what style of play no? I think he could play well along side Jason O'Connor but so could the other UL striker Jason Sheehan, former Wembley player as could many other strikers in Limerick but on form he should be in there.Originally Posted by see's it
there are a lot of players out there who don't care about the OT. At least Reddan has people picked who want to play. Also he has picked two panels this years for the two matches and have won both games, not a bad result.
Anyway , do anybody know who Limerick have got in the next round and when is it on ?
They are playing Carlow...dont know where or when though
That oscar traynor squad is picked in rashers, its a joke. How can the manager of it be the manager of a team. How can he get around to the games to see whose playing well or not. Its a farce and thats why its treated as such. Alot of the players in town are hoping that they don't get picked for it, its a sad fact.Originally Posted by UL Boys
i think no matter who the manager is hes going to be critizised, there are alot of good players in town, let alone having to be loyal to the players closesed to him, also isnt it a good bargining tool to sign players,so i agree it should be done by a nuetral person.Originally Posted by Noddy
