I've made a noise in work which should've landed me in trouble.
Only question I have is how this is going to work in conjunction with the new alcohol labelling laws which are in effect - this is surely considered as advertising? Perhaps the players jersey will be blank?
Here they come! It’s the charge of the “Thanks” Brigade!

I took this from citizens information

"On a sports field, playing surface or other playing area during a match or competition (this does not include the stadium or hoarding around a sports pitch, or what players are wearing)"

    https://www.citizensinformation.ie/e...l-and-the-law/

It seems once it's not on the playing surface it's fine. They also don't have a kids version of this jersey available from the looks of things

Might be an unpopular opinion (or at least a non- enlightened one), but there is something that just feels right to have an Alcohol sponsor on a football jersey.

Being sponsored by a UK multinational does seem a bit off-brand for Bohs, mind.

I agree! Throw-back all the way. Spotted someone over the summer in a retro Furstenberg Waterford top. The Bohs one reminds me of CCFC straight away. The (oul) Bass triangle would be a perfect fit in lots of ways.

You have to give Bohs credit - they know what they're doing when it comes to making and marketing a shirt. And fair play to them. There'll be tourists tripping over themselves to be seen going around in one of these.

I know it's straws in the wind, but this sort of stuff really does make me think the LOI is right on the cusp of becoming mainstream and even big-time in Ireland. I'd love to see what sort of crowds we could get this season if capacity wasn't an issue at any grounds.

P.S. A shame that Guinness couldn't have similarly stepped forward and used their marketing etc muscle when St James's Gate FC was on the verge of going out of existence a couple of seasons ago.

Love it. Brings back great images/memories for anyone of a certain age.
