If you were to rename the league, what would you call it ??

They suggested this in the Genesis Report alright.

They gave some suggestions to which the eircom Irish Premership was the worst by far!

They suggested the eircom Irish Elite League which is kinda cool I think.

Rules of the competition are that it has to have eircom somewhere in the title

Elite League sounds silly, no offense like. Sounds a bit like "Special Class".

�ire League isn't bad, but I think any attempt to go too far down the patriotic route will risks putting some people off. But then perhaps it's just me that vomits at the very sight of American-style patriotism.

Premiership is kowtowing to the premiership followers, sure, but is that such a bad thing? More we can steal the better surely?
