U-19 international midfielder Ronan Maher (turned 20 yesterday) has been with Walsall (EFL 2) since he was 11. He has made 29 appearances in all competitions for Walsall. He had a successful loan to National League North side Rushall Olympic (25 appearances, 4 goals, 6 assists) so Walsall loaned him to National League side Tamworth for a month. He scored the 94th minute equaliser against Burton Albion which - after penalties - got Tamworth an FA Cup tie v Spurs. Unfortunately, Maher suffered an ankle injury during extra time v Burton Albion and is out for "a few weeks", so he won't play against Spurs. He's not very big, but might be of interest to a LoI club before he becomes a Walsall regular.
