Total handbags that all came from a few Dundalk lads who had clearly had too much in the sun. Sure they were fighting among themselves in Connolly after the game and there was also a video of them causing chaos in a Tesco. It's a shame that literally one of two bring down what is an absolutely amazing support. They broke a serious amount of seats down in Longford earlier in the season
Friday night football is now becoming the warm up for the Friday night **** up for some!

Two particularly poor attendances.
Dundalk v Wexford - 1,632
Finn Harps v Cobh Ramblers - 703
Athlone Town v Treaty United - 430
Kerry v UCD - 360
Was always going to be a very poor attendance in Finn Park tonight. The whole county is on the Donegal GAA bandwagon and you would hardly have known Harps were playing tonight such is the wall to wall coverage locally for the All-Ireland final.
Ex-Liverpool and West Ham player Don Hutchison was in attendance to watch his son Max play for Harps though.
About 25 Cobh fans made the trip too, which was good to see.

430 at Athlone... dont think so .Half that maybe.
Kerry’s attendances have dropped off a lot from a positive start, last night was lowest of the season and with the amount of back to back home games we have it will get lower (6 home games in 6 weeks, including 2 home cup games, a round of back to back home league fixtures and then a bank holiday game thrown in the mix too (played only 1 home game in June). That said it’s still a very poor attendance.
Looking on LoI tv, you would really question the 430 at Athlone last night. Can’t have been more than 150-200 in that stand (granted it holds over 2k but was basically empty).
Brandywell sold out last night, so 5,300 minus whatever ST holders didn't turn up.
