I thought this was a great game of football. When Sligo scored I felt they got what they deserved. It took City until then to get their act together. When City scored on the stroke of half time it was all City in the 2nd half. I'm pretty sure we'll be seeing Sligo at the X next season in the league. They are a very good side. I just hope we don't draw Derry AWAY in the Samis. If we get to the Final I hope we play them then.

Johno, Sligo don't need to be patronised by remarks like that. They know that they are a quality side and gave us a fright. They could have won this tie, and we know it.
And what's that about a "cheap crack"? You don't have to play boring football to get results. Take a reality pill, fella.

I only got to watch the recorded match today but I thought City played some brilliant football. All that was missing w as a cutting edge up front. The pitch at the cross is in best condition i've ever seen it & really encourages passing football. Gamble was very good as link between defense & attack as he dropped back to collect the ball from the defense. Fenn also dropped back towards midfield for some excellent touches.

Sligo tried to pass the ball but hads virtually no shots on goal.

Our home form really has improved in recent weeks - we seem to like live TV now.

Can't agree with that FPB, Sligo NEVER looked anywhere near to winning this game. Looking at it on Chorus again last night, I was amazed at just how dominant we were.
