Well done to Abbey on winning the Connaught Cup hard luck to Celtic
this years comp will best remembered for its protest and without doubt Mr Kennedy will have the last Laugh when he this evenings hands over the cup to Abbey.
Whats next for dykes he has now won nothing after going to great lenghts of trying to put a team together from outside.
just proves one thing you can't create team spirit from assemble team from out side and expect them to have the same Celtic passion.

Watched the game on video tere.Abbey by far the better team.And truly worthy winners.Nice touch by Gavin and castlebar celtic football club for filling the cup for Abbey in mooneys bar last night.Like to wish Castlebar the best for the rest of tere season!

Castlebar are a poor team infairness.
Typical Dykes tactics,hoofball up to the big lad up front,who couldnt kick snow off a rope.
Abbey should have won the game in normal time but had a goal disallowed for no reason.
