Barcelonas red shorts

Just watchin' Barca v Valencia. Barca at home, wearing usual shirts, but for some reason red shorts?

Is this the new thing now, is it???

They wore them against Athletico Madrid at the weekend also

The red shorts are part of the new home kit now. A lot of their fans were up in arms about it during the summer. Why change at all? There was nothing wrong with the usual combo they have been using as far back as I can remember. I've watched Barca 4 times on TV so far in this kit and the red shorts are just not growing on me. A bad move in my opinion.
