Best Live Performance of the Year (So Far)

Couple of good ones, especially from Electric Picnic and Sonar so I'll mention a few and then my own top choice,

    Ian Brown @ Dolans, Limerick
    Weezer @ Ambassador, Dublin
    Beck @ Olympia, Dublin
2 Many DJs @ Sonar, Barcelona
    Le Tigre @ Sonar, Barcelona
    LCD Soundsystem @ Sonar, Barcelona
Arcade Fire @ Electric Picnic, Whatever bog standard county that was in
Toots and the Maytals @ Electric Picnic
    DJ Format @ Electric Picnic
    Kraftwerk @ Electric Picnic

but top choice has to be.......

DJ Yoda @ Sonar, Barcelona, for the visuals that went along with the beats if nothing else. All in all its been a pretty handy year so far for live performances

The Magic Numbers in The Ambassador (a few short weeks ago) is my #1

That Weezer gig was very good too (though it was in Vicar Street).

I stand corrected, Vicar St it was, they were also very good at the Point, shame the Point is such a ****e atmosphere sucking venue

babyshambles with out question the best live act this year for me blew everything else out of the water ,a million times better than any of the others i went to all those ian brown (never again ), kasabian, greenday , foo fighters , streets , snoop , all the oxyegen and picnic bands and even the pixies kings of leon all seemed pretty poor in comparison .

if you get a chance to see them live in a small venue nothing will come close.

no wait i thought of 1 other act thats up there damo dempsey in dolans or he was even better at the picnic ......

    Yeah, they were incredible.

Been to a sh1t load this year but the best of the year (& my life) was the Coldplay one in Marlay Park. Totally blew my mind.
