With the Under 17 Championships Qualification under way, I was checking up on last year's squad, and found that William Martin has been promoted to the first team squad at Odense BK. They finished bottom of the Danish SuperLiga last season, but are currently nine points clear at the top of the First Division.
Martin was named as a sub for one game last season, a 2-0 win over Randers in May. This season, he's started four games in the league, was substituted in all of them, came off the bench in a further 10 league games, and completed 90 minutes in a cup game. He marked his first start against Kolding a month ago with a goal (0:15 below)
Speaks good Danish tbf :-) Usually stuff in the interview; happy with the three points, physical game, good to remain undefeated, happy to score his first senior goal for his childhood club in an important game, hopes to score more. Nothing about Colin O'Brien though.
That'll mean he will have played competitively for both countries, so I think so, yes.
That's correct.
