Old loyalties put to one side as O'Grady returns to the Cross

Conor O’Grady hasn’t got a goal yet this season, but if he scores on Friday night against his former club Cork City in the quarter finals of the FAI Carlsberg Cup, the celebrations will be a little less muted than the last time he scored against the rebels.

Same as Alan Kirby in the FAI cup final.Even in the photo's he looks like someone has died and the Waterford fans still give him abuse.....the fools.

l think Sligo can pull off a surprise Friday night as l feel City not at their best with so many high profile games.Hope l am wrong and also a replay would not suit by any means,in fact its the last thing we want.

conor was a great player at city, and is a sound fella as well. the way he didn't celebrate his goal at the cross last season was the mark of a true sportsman. he#ll always be welcome back at the cross. legend

Saw that alright .... when it just went in he was turning to celebrate and then remembered. Fair play to him i say .... good player.
The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.
