We have history here though Legendz, the 2002 side that was relegated and subsequently won the cup was. imo, the strongest (and relatively one of the most expensive) sides to have been relegated. At the then Co-op AGM it was decided to aim and pay for a quick bounce back but it took years. Now we were helped with relegation by league restructuring 2002 and missed out on promotion due to eh league restructuring, but it took 4 managers to get back up and we were seconds from another season and likely a 5th manager. Aside from not knowing what version, if any, Dundalk FC playing next season, one thing is for sure is that we shoudnt be thinking about Premier League football as a given 2026.
