great game to watch. leeside tried their best after going down 2 nil but got a bit carried away with giving out to the ref and linesmen. They were WCL refs and Drinagh are used to keeping their mouths shut when it comes to our refs. Is it definitly the 2nd of April for the semi's??? Its a great achievement for us to make the last 4 in munster considering the club is only 23 years old. The little village will look to try and fill out turner's cross!!!

St Michaels got the 2nd of april as the semi final date provisionally so i would imagine it will be the 2nd or 9th......great to see a club like drinagh making the semi's..its what cup football is all about... here's to a Saints v drinagh final in Turners cross....

Twud be nice but there's the little matter of Clonmel town standing in our way, and we're well aware as to how much of a gulf in class there is between us but as you say, you gotta love cup football, anything could happen on the day.

Dont think that michaels are good enough this year to win anything.rumour speculating that there are a few players leaving at the end of the season so i think that st. michaels could be on the slide!!

what players are gonna leave saints. only players leaving would be through retirements id say they have alot of players in there thirties. they have good youth team coming through and never have problem attracting players so cant see them sliding. if there standards did drop the tsdl would be in trouble cause all other teams in premier have dropped there standard bar town and league really would be very poor next year without a top saints team

i have to disagree there i believe they are on the slide, the rumour mill is rife that arron will definately be leaving, possibly james walsh to dublin also its time for him to move up there to keep hold of the junior captaincy and also talks of breen leaving of not for league of ireland then to another top junior club. while he enjoys the football there are definately personlaities there he does not like. Only what i've been told though this could all change

there will always be rumours lads...lets wait till aug 2006 and we'll see...the FACT is that they are still there now so saints will be there and there abouts this year for munster. James walsh doesn't have to move anywhere to keep his captaincy of both the junior and amateur(intermediate+junior) squads.. he got this as a saints player and has over the years turned down offers from LOI teams,Intermediate teams in dublin and cork...
munster semi town v drinagh is on in turners cross sat 1st april at 7.30...saints v carrick is on sun 9th april 3pm in Ozier park.. 2 fantastic games to look forward to..agree?

Wat are clonmel towns colours? will they have much of a following going to turners cross?? Drinagh is only a small village but were a loud bunch so should be a great nite at the X. Win, Lose or Draw!
(and yes i no it can't finish in a draw but ya get my drift!)

    Towns Colours

Hows it going Drinagh. Town first choice colours are mainly orange with black trim but they have been using an all black strip for most of the season. Numbers wise, we dont usually have a big travelling support so maybe between 150 - 200 people. I'd say ye will probably have more support on the night. Best of Luck

Michael's need to get a few players in for next season otherwise town will run away with the league next year.I was over to watch de youths this year over in cooke and i didnt see much comin through the ranks, maybe two players at the most.cashel youths are the team of the youth league this year, seen them play a few times this year and they look good!!Michaels will be a second rate team in time to come, wit players on the way out.If james walsh does leave they will most definately be on the slide.Think carrick will beat them hands down, but ud never know!!

Clonmel Town 4 nil winners over Drinagh Rangers. Apparently it could have been ten as the Cork team's goalie was sent off after 5 minutes.

Third final in a row for Clonmel Town. Lets just hope they finally win the bloody thing.

    Town V Drinagh

The sending off of the Drinagh keeper ended the game as a contest as Town were able to use the extra man to stretch Drinagh all over the pitch. Credit has to go to the Drinagh supporters who didn't stop chanting for the entire 90 mins even though the game was obviously lost. They gave their side a standing ovation at full time which was also nice to see. Town need to convert more of the chances they create. I reckon Carrick V Michaels will be a tighter affair with Carrick tipped to advance. Whoever they play hopefully Town can at last rectify their terrible final record. C'mon the TOWN.
