Rumours that Waterford will be looking for a new manager soon.
He's just not a Premier standard player. Very, very quick and strong. He's lazy though and he seems to read the game poorly, he reacts slowly to situations. He scored a couple of important goals for us but he has missed a lot of good chances.
Best of luck to him wherever he ends up, I like to see Galway lads do well regardless of who they play with.
In as much as these comparisons really mean anything, I'd have him roughly similar to Dara Keane, who got a move to Dundalk last year, but seems to have struggled to make an impact in a poor team, not helped by a lengthy injury it seems
Paaatrick's Agletic
A pity for Jack, I think he's a really excellent first division footballer, but very light physically, I think he could do well at a more ball dominant PD team, but he's never gotten the opportunity. The gap in quality between the semi pro 1st div teams and the PD teams now is so large that maybe he just isn't physically up to it and that's why no one has taken that punt.

This would be a strange one. I know you had a rough 2nd half of the season but you would assume if you offered anyone at the club safety with games to spare they probably would have taken it at the start? Would it be Long walking away or a structural change? I got the feeling he didn't appoint his own assistant and that it was someone from within the parent clubs structure that he was saddled with.
James Keddy departed Wexford
Irish by birth ,Harps by the grace of god.
I'm not sure if these rumours about Long and Waterford have anything to them. I've only saw 1 comment on social media about it. Long said after the game on Friday night he is planning ahead for next season, that players will come and go and he is under contract. Fans are behind him too and overall happy with the season despite a poor finish to it.
sorry to hear JD wasnt kept on. Would love to see him back with us as I was mightily impressed with him during his short spell with ourselves.
Gary Cronin is he the right man to manage Longford Town?
Will Patching off to Carlisle United apparently, who are L2.
Didn't really expect him to stay. Such a talented player, but a tendancy to go missing for periods.
In fairness to him, he's been playing through injury for the past few months too.
Expected him to go, but thought he was better than League 2, to be honest. I suppose between injuries and everything else he hasn't really had a chance to put his best foot forward this year. Maybe he's a less appealing prospect than he should be because of that.
Good luck to him. Enough people I've talked to recently seem to want to pin a lot of the blame on Derry's falling away on him (unfairly imo), but he's some player when things are going his way.
I think he takes his ability a bit for granted, coasts some games and could still be motm or game changer. Id still love to know why Filipo made him train away from the senior squad and then sent him out on loan, for him to be back in July and was needed before the permanent exit to Derry.
