Just wanted to reassure readers on this forum (including myself) of a certain vintage that, contrary to the Logan's Run-esque chat on this thread, life does not end when you hit 31.
Ou-est le Centre George Pompidou?
Cristian Magerusan apparently signing for Steau Bucharest in the Romanian Ligue 2
Irish by birth ,Harps by the grace of god.
Fully agree about Mulraney. Was frustrating, but since SKs arrival he has been a revelation. I think a lot of it might be due to Kennys obvious belief in him. Whereas Jon Daly seemed to sub him off regularly, Kenny always left him on, even in the early games before he hit real form.
Out for a spell, got neglected, lay on the bench unselected.
Barry Coffey becomes the latest ex Cork City player to join Cobh Ramblers

Barry Coffey, ex Cork City signs for Cobh Ramblers. This is Cobh's 9th signing, while 8 players from last season's squad were released.
Worth noting that there are now two Steaua Bucharests since a recent legal wrangle over the name - the "traditional" one, which still wins titles and plays in Europe, is called FCSB now, whereas the one which held onto the official name of Steaua Bucharest is in Division Two, and so is the club interested in Magerusan.
Yeah, it sounds overly simple but I think the difference in him has just been confidence. All I hear about him is that he's apparently a great guy and a model professional, really looks after the young lads and puts in extra time in training etc, but on some of his bad days he can look like your stereotypical soft winger that has an attitude problem. Think that's just him getting too into his own head when things haven't been going his way, but from the home game against Vaduz until the end of the season he looked like he was brimming with confidence and his performances showed it. Would be massive were Pats able to get something approaching a full season of that out of him.
UCD have signed Brian McManus from Bohs, Killian Cailloce from Drogheda, Carl Lennox from Rovers
Have heard of Cailloce but overall know nothing about any of those. So typical UCD signings really.
All made their debuts tonight as we lost 4-1 to Bohs in the LSC. Two goals in the last two minutes for Bohs (plus a missed penalty)
Brian McManus should be a very good signing for the First Division but he comes with the injury/fitness disclaimer, he picked up some seriously unlucky knocks at Shels including in his final game for us getting smashed by our now own John Martin
The Leinster Senior League needs a strong Bohemians
I believe all 3 of those lads are starting off on scholarships so should be around for the next 4 years.
Adding to that, a number of strong underage players coming through over the last 2 seasons (Academy champions in U17/U19 last 2 years), UCD will be strong this season and for the coming seasons.
Luke O’Regan the pick of the bunch!
Cailloce spent some time with Caen's academy (he's half French, but has represented Ireland at underage level). I think he's a lanky number 10 type. Has a 16 year old brother who was on the bench for Shels a few times last season
Curious to know if any club made a contract offer to Zack Nolan from Bray Wanderers.
Seems quite a prospect.
Seemingly Atalanta, Monza, Brescia and clubs in English league one are interested in him

Sam Bellis, ex-Waterford striker, gone to Cobh. A rare non-Cork signing so not too familiar with him. What is he like Waterford fans?
Sligo have signed Barnsley midfielder Matty Wolfe. He suffered a severe knee injury a few years ago and hasn’t played a senior game since January 2023, having made 33 first team appearances for them before that
