    Richardson promises Slavia “torrid” time

Cork City manager Damien Richardson has pledged Slavia Prague a difficult night in the second leg of the Uefa Cup first round tie between the sides in two weeks’ time.

Richardson was unable to travel to the Czech capital with his side, instead watching the game from the Bon Secours hospital in Cork, where he is undergoing tests on a lung condition.

This is one occasion, IMHO, where we can deffo make a difference to the result. Every pair of lungs capable of singing and roaring support should be geared up for the 29th. Slavia are a tough side. They must be made feel the passion of City's supporters on Thursday week.

There is no doubt that we are able to turn this around .... and if we do, we'll deserve to get through to the next round.

Fans make a difference ... definitely ..... bombard every radio show, newspaper, tv station with messages all the way to the game and build it up.

There are no suprises now and all going well, there are alot of things in our favour.

We should also look to make a few quid off them by charging them for a training ground over here ...... Welcome to Hell type atmosphere all the way .... we were shown it over there ..... go to town on them back here.
