You'd go for Hurley over Gannon? Where were you yesterday buddy? We had a great away support, could really have done with you. Not sure if Robbie's fit, hope so though. I have a feeling an Anto Murphy/ Martin partnership could be quite potent. Murphy is just awesome in the air and they'd both have good pace.

    Thumbs up Double result

Yeah, Anto is defo the man for the goals.

I was inebriated. Don't remember anything but apparantly I got refused from Time nighclub Naas. What do you expect when you start drinking at 5 & get a free bar from 8-11.30. Work nights out eh! Someone lashed me in a Taxi & must have paid the driver to take me home? Awoke thismorning in my own bed & College had won 1-0. Double result.

    I'll be there Friday.

You missed possibly the best game of the season in terms of a good quality assured performance by the College. Ah well, if we can get the same crowd out to Bray next week plus a few extra we'd be doing great.

Not a clue. A Derry lad confirmed they've sold 100 so far. We've sold 50 so far. Maccer said there'd be a guaranteed 100 or so officials from the FAI to come to the game. I'd be a bit more pessimistic and say 1,000. We can only wait and see. I announced to all of Theatre L for a first year History lecture about the same and told them we're selling tickets outside. That's a good 500 students or so. 1 person from that lecture bought a ticket afterwards.

According to the Derry forum there's 75 tickets left. That's 225 sold. I also saw a lad from their supporters club in Dublin asking if there were any going to them so it means they've yet to buy tickets.

The players all get two free tickets each, I think - should be another 50. However, I'd say many will take more than that - I was talking to Stephen Hurley's mum and she was looking for four or five tickets. There's a letter gone out to pretty much everyone who's ever been involved with UCD, which should bring in a few more. I know I've five or ten extra people coming along who wouldn't normally go to matches. Would be hopeful we can hit 1,000 for the game, which would be about twice what the league game got.

Oh, and as for the team... I can see Conor Kenna coming back in if he was on the bench on Friday. Probably be Brian Shortall to make way, leaving Tony Mac in defence and Hurley and Dicker in midfield. Conan Byrne and Anto Murphy did very well up front last night, so wouldn't be too worried about playing them together up front. Can't see any other changes, though Robbie Martin may be on the bench if he's playing U-21s this weekend.

Chatted with Robbie at half time. He was due to play for the U-21's against St. Pat's today.

Tough call between Dicker and Hurley. If Kenna is fit, Tony Mac has to go back to midfield. Up front I can't see Anto Murphy being dropped and Robbie is our top scorer so I'd be surprised if he doesn't start if fit.
We're not arrogant, we're just better.
