Have Kerry FC Dodged a Bullet

With the previous CEO now seemingly in a sinking ship that is Dundalk, it certainly looks like what happened last November was a blessing in Disguise!

Who knows where Kerry FC would be had this man being at the helm from 10 Months ago!

Hard to tell. In fairness to him we probably wouldn't have a club but for him. Also Dundalk had a lot of debt so unless he has deep pockets, which looks unlikely now, it was never going to end well.

Agree - there would be no Kerry FC without him so definitely don’t hold any grudges. It’s not nice to see what’s happening to a club with such a great tradition like Dundalk and definitely Ainscough blindly inherited a lot of the mess. Hopefully the players get their wages and are not out of pocket to the end of a long off season. Professional football in the lower leagues can be very cruel!!!

In any case, aside from the 25% that's held in a golden share by the KDL and the percentage held by Dennehy and Conway, all we really know about the remaining stakeholders is that they were Irish-American associates of Ainscough who decided to stay put when he moved on, so, much like the GAA, might be worthwhile developing contacts with the various Kerry Associations worldwide to have all our bases covered in the event any of them get cold feet.
