O Shea was always going to play between 30 to 40 games this season as he is effectively the 5th defender all across the back line. Injuries are a natural part of football. So he fills in for Neville then he will fill in for Heinze. At no point will he ever be out of the team for a long time.

dont think any1 has mentioned the point that it may not be so much the fact that o'shea will be playing every week as regular football was never the problem...wat the problem was, was that he was gettin fecked all over the place, never settled with heinze out he should be able to play regular at left back where he impressed after 'bursting' onto the scene, lol

There was that point made that you haev made but there were also others that said he woudl not get enough games etc. That was never going to happen in rough and tumble of English football and the squad system in place at Man Utd. I agree he is better playing in one position.

With all the injuries at MUFC this could provide Miller a last or close to last chance to prove himself.

I doubt it, the injuries are in defence, United are well stocked in midfield, as it is Fletcher, Scholes, Giggs are all ahead of Miller in the 4-3-3 system they're using at the moment.
