Glory Nzingo joins Carolina Core until 31 Dec 25. Carolina Core are in the third division of US football and the move straddles the first half of next season in most leagues in Europe. All seems a bit unusual.
A goal and two assists for Kyle Fitzgerald earlier for Newcastle's U18s against Wolves

Incidentally, Rory Finneran has been promoted to Newcastle's U21s - starting their last two games in PL2, against Stoke last night and Arsenal a week ago - as well as coming off the bench against Gateshead and Altrincham in the National League Cup
Sounds like Zefi's going with Albania. Mind you he hasn't done anything in his career yet to suggest he's actually good enough for Albania.
Dunno, Crawford at it again... There's a chance he ends up being an excellent footballer. It's a long shot but he has so much technical ability, he could still become a really good player. And who's Crawford selected ahead of him? Probably someone like Ben Quinn of Mansfield...
I don't know, there seems to be a suggestion that he doesn't have the application to go with the talent. Usually that combination ends up with the player not making it at a high level. He's 20 now and has yet to play a first team game in his career. I'm not a fan of Crawford but I suspect he might have gotten this one right. At least Ben Quinn plays games.
I was just picking Ben Quinn cause both himself and Zefi were in the previous squad. Hopefully all the 2006 kids are with the u19s, who have a knockout group they need to win, so it kinda just leaves:
Vata (hopefully with the seniors)
Umeh (youth football)
Moore (youth football)
Zefi (youth football)
Quinn (unwanted at league one level)
McGuinness (LOI first division)
Bloxham (youth football, presumably injured)
McGrath (university football in america)
Hakiki (LOI)
For me, the first choice options should be Zefi, Moore, Vata and Umeh. If Vata is up, then take one of the rest...
Looks like midfielder Ronnie Gorman might be moving on from Brighton. He had a game for Norwich's U18s last week and is named on the bench for Arsenal's U18s today
FA Youth Cup tie between Aston villa and Manchester United is streaming on YouTube. Jacob Devaney playing for United, Alfie Lynskey on the bench for Villa

Franco Umeh scored Palace U21s's third goal in a 5-2 win against West Ham on Friday night
Goal here at 5:51, had a close range shot saved just before it
Palace had two players sent off on Saturday, so he could come into the squad to play Man City this weekend
Jack Moorhouse was on the bench for Utd tonight against Lyon
Its really not that complicated!!!
goal for Franco Umeh last night against Brighton in the PL2 round of 16, below at 2:22
Palace playing Chelsea in the quarter finals on Monday afternoon, so he's unlikely to be involved in the senior team's game v Forest that night
<EDIT>
Sorry, the game against Chelsea was on Friday night, so there's a chance Umeh could be involved against Forest
