To be fair having watched the highlights of those games myself I should've used a different metaphor.Their keeper seems dodgy, similarly they look awful at defending set-pieces so there should be opportunities in that sense, they're evidently very strong going forward though which they didn't get to show properly having gone down to 10. That mixed with our away record has me sceptical, but in fairness we did play as well as we have all season so replicate that and we still have more than a chance. Was just one of those games where you couldn't help hut feel we could really regret not putting at least another couple past them.
Pats ahead against the run of play, fine strike from Mcclelland from outside the area…

Pats take the lead with a nice strike from Jay McClelland, somewhat against the run of play it must be said.
Out for a spell, got neglected, lay on the bench unselected.
Why is Stephen Bradley doing 4th official at the Galway/Pats match ?![]()

Pat's have almost rotated the entire team and winning. Incredible bench

Yeah, it's very one sided. Bad goalkeeping for the equalizer, pushed it exactly where you don't want it.
Very poor by the ref to disallow that Galway goal, no way the GK was impeded. Completely fair challenge.

We were robbed there. I thought we were the better team. Nice goal by Pat's but he had a clear run in from midfield unchallenged. Nothing wrong with that disallowed goal. Anang looked very dodgy throughout the game. Kazeem, the rat, was terrible for Pat's.
You must be joking, it will come to a stage where an attacker isn't allowed go near a GK, Pats very very lucky to get away with that. Should been a goal, possibly even a Peno, watch it back, Pats defender, has his arms around a Galway player almost on the line.
That's two Sunday's in a row now they have got key decisions going in their favour.

It's 100% in line with every foul you see given in favour of a goalkeeper in every game across the world. Anang has hold of the ball, Hickey backs into him and forces him to drop it, no referee that sees that isn't giving it. Yoi can argue that the leeway keepers get is a wider issue with the game now but that's the reality of it.
Galway were the much better side in the second half and probably would have been worth the win but the idea that they were robbed off the back of that decision is fanciful for me.

100% a goal the Pats defenders reaction tells it all.
I've watched it back and not even sure who you're referring to. I presume where Turner has his arm around a Galway player that is in turn backing into him, not competing for the ball. If you think that's a penalty then I'm not sure you can then with a straight face say that Pats' one last week was soft.
As I said, that's a free kick for the goalkeeper the world over. There's an example every week of a goal disallowed for the same or similar, I doubt you or anyone can find me many cases this season where they've been awarded. Off the top of my head I can think of a few we've had against us this season and I doubt you'll have seen me up in arms about it. I've seen Galway fans on social media bemoaning that they've now had several similar disallowed this season, that's not because you're being robbed or unlucky it's simply how the rules are enforced. It's soft but keepers are hugely protected now, that's how it is.
Drogheda level in Tallaght, cracking finish from James-Taylor .....
