Treaty hammering Longford at Bishopgate, well in the mix for the playoffs and they’ll be above us very soon….
Irish by birth ,Harps by the grace of god.
Rovers are still going to win the league....
Two massive matches tommorow against drogs and Thursday Celje. Two wins and season is seriously on.
Ellis Chapman is a lovely player to watch
Paaatrick's Agletic
Victory expected ,scoreline a shock even allowing how poor Longford are as goals are scare in Treatyland.Given the quality and experience in this squad Treaty should have been seeing this scoreline more often. The Flansiro was a souless venue tonight saved only by the super strike that was Currans first goal.
Two lovely goals for Enda Curran in his hat-trick tonight.
Grim enough for Longford, you'd have to feel for them but wouldn't shock me if they're back in the playoff picture next year - they're a steady Eddie in the First Division (except for now).
Dunno if you're going to Bohs long enough Ger, but I remember way back when, Rovers were going for their 1st title under Michael O'Neill, and lost to Bohs at dalymount, leading to choruses from the jodi of "can you feel it slip away".
Rovers still have to do their thing and drag some consistency out of their ar$e, but if they do there'll be a chorus of that when Rovers play shels in September.
Shamrock Rovers- Where trophies are won and envy is scarce
Shels have lost their best defender and best forward in the window, plus while Boyd is out also don't have a proper striker. Think I saw it said that Jarvis and Boyd account for half the goals they've scored this season or something, plus Bone isn't even close to a replacement for Molloy. I think they've enough of a buffer to see it out but they're certainly a weaker side now than they were when they built that lead.
Going more years than I care to remember. Anyway, seen a fair bit in my time and I know when a side is running out of momentum deep into the race. Think Shels will be caught but by who. Should really be Derry when you look at the points difference and squad but then there is this team that have won it the last four seasons. And when you see them out of the corner of your eye getting ever closer, you think they’ll take you before the finish line.
I know Derry have been inconsistent, but I don’t think they can be written off by any means. Only two points in it, so it’s very much all to play for. Wouldn’t like to call it, but it would be pretty funny if Shels were to be caught now. I still think they are an average side, but in fairness it’s their doggedness that has kept them in front.
Out for a spell, got neglected, lay on the bench unselected.
Not expecting much from Pats today. Anang keeps his place in goal, and Keena up front who only played 45 minutes on Thursday anyway, otherwise every single player has been changed.

Ditto. Without sounding miserable, as happy as I am about the performance and win on Thursday I think it'll go down as a missed opportunity. Sabah left the door open in a way I can't see them doing at home.
Re: today I think the team is still good enough to get a result but just matches up terribly against Galway. They're an aggressive, physical side and what we've put out is anything but. They'll get bullied but that's some bench to turn to if we're still in the game after an hour or so.
