    But in those days weren't Waterford called Waterford FC. The United tag only came sometime in the 80's I think.

    Are you honestly telling us that all the apparent 819 in Prague were die hard Cork fans and there was no ex-pats going along to watch an Irish team involved If they were fair play but I sincerely doubt it

    The vast majority were imo. There may have been 100 max who weren't but the rest were.

    What's in a name? Unlike Cork City, Cork Athletic, Cork Hibernians, Cork United, Cork Celtic, Waterford United was just a name change, not a whole new club.
