Wimbledon have added to their squad by securing left-back James Furlong on a season-long loan from Hull City.

Since joining Hull City two years ago, Furlong has made only one appearance for their first team (in an FA Cup match). He made 21 appearances in EFL 2 for Wimbledon in 2024/25, averaging just over 40 mins a game. Has another year to go on his contract, but according to Hull Daily Mail (30 June) is unlikely to feature in Hull City's first team plans in 2025/26.
