My second favourite song off the album, my fav is Neighbourhood #1 Tunnels.

    Excellent album.

Top song of the year for me though is Fix You by Coldplay. Just bigger, bolder, and better than any other song on that album or indeed *any* album I've heard this year

Fairly disappointed that Coldplay used a Kraftwerk sample as blatantly as they did on Talk.

Can't really think off my best song of the year but one that always seems to be in my head is Complicated Situation by BRMC.
The opinions expressed above are not those of my family, my church or myself,
but they are the opinions of Humphrey Bogart as revealed to me through the medium of my pet hamster, Dr.Samuel L. Jackson

Hmmm another 3.5 months of year left, I'll judge then, but so far, none of the usuals, anyone who played @ Oxegen has been flogged to death on Radio, I'd prob say Finding my old copy of Blue Monday last week, nothing this year has shook me up, maybe the Futureheads @ The Savoy but naaah. All teh indie @ the mo is too radio friendly, bring back the days of "Wtf you listenin to baaai?!"

    Really
    j'accuse!

I forget at times what came out this year or last....So with that in mind and sorry if I mention last years tunes, my nominees for Best Song of the Year are:

Arcade Fire - Neighbourhood #3 (Power Out)
Antony and the Johnsons - Bird Gerhl
Bright Eyes - First Day of my Life
Futureheads - Decent Days and Nights
    Kaiser Chiefs - I predict a riot
Chemical Brothers - Pick one off Push the Button

With new albums from Bellx1 and Turn and Josh Ritter due, things could change.
