Racist w@nkers of fans, and the outright denial of the fact by their fans after the event. Only time I really remember it kicking off between fans at flancare, (before the BSC proved how hard they are by attacking Marty and the lads ). That's the main reason, although I find some of their internet crowd annoying too (obvious exception of James the yank).....

What I actually hate is the moronic devotion of so called fans to the Premiersh!t the SPL and anything as long as it is NOT IRISH!

I also hate the fact that event junkies get tickets to International matches in Lansdowne Road, and real fans who go to see their EL team 10-20 times a season at home and probably a few more away can't get them.

I also hate the fact that so many people in this country despise our language and culture and yet when you suggest they do the decent thing and get an English passport they react as if there is something illogical in my assertion

The whole on bended knee to Roy Keane thing left a really sour taste in the mouth. I think Brian Kerr is a pompous ar$e and the vast majority of the "fans" at Lansdowne Road these days are barstool populating morons. I just don't like what the team represents anymore and I can't relate to them or alot (not all) of the fans in any way. "Hate" is maybe too strong a word for my feelings about the Republic but I have absolutely no enthusiasm for them

Bit late getting back but here goes...

No offence but I generally find their fans to be incredibly ignorant and it's the only ground in the first division where you get chav-tastic fellas of all ages and sizes giving intimidation. (Galway and Cobh try but that's just not very intimidating ) Also, there were lots of incidents between the clubs in the past, the nadir probably coming at Oriel in the early 90's. Without going into detail, it involved Limerick fans in a pen and bags of pi$$.

So basically it comes down to most Dundalk fans being the scum of the earth
