Well whatever Martin O Neill has done he has done well at every club with the exception of Norwich. But I dont think he can be held liable for that. However I think all this talk is way to premature. If Kerr leads us to 2nd place and we qualify via the play off he will be a hero.

Martin O'Neill is excellent at making players believe and play above themselves, how many times have you seen a Martin O'Neill side come out all guns blazing in the last few champion league encounters against better teams (man for man) e.g AC Milan, Barcelona, Juventas.. they seem to up there game in the second half and really take the game to the opposition.. this seems to me to be down to Martin O'Neill, Brian seems totally incapable of inspiring his players to do this..Please someone name one occasion when a Brian Kerr side has shaken off a bad first half to really have a go at a team in the second half in the last two campaigns? Never they in fact do the opposite they fade out like a car running out of petrol..MON inspires Kerr just can't do this!

The really worrying statistic for me is that under Brian Kerr we've only come from behind to win once, against Australia at home. Every other time we've gone behind, we've gone on to lose. This (more than anything else) was what depressed me when France went ahead last week. I think it was also the first competitive game we failed to score at home under Brian too, Brazil was the last time we failed to score
