I will say in Leonard’s defence, out of his superstar signings, the two best were missing in Keegan and Bunter and the 3rd went off injured after 20 minutes. Hard against any side let alone coachford with their tails up

From the village point of view, they started well without creating too much in the final third. I think not getting a stonewall penalty knocked them a little bit, but that’s not to say that coachford weren’t the better team overall. They are looking very strong, it’ll have to be a strong performance to get results down there this year.

If people want to mockingly call them the galacticos I think it’s only right to leave in the fact Bunter and Keegan are two brilliant players and Pa long went off injured quite early

Good players. But Superstars. I can’t think of any superstars playing in the AUL

Has anyone any confirmation on whether the Prem will be 3 or 2 round fixtures?

I understand the necessity of midweek games as per last season's debacle with the weather, but as it stands, teams like Castleview/Village will have 4 league games played by the 1st/2nd week of September. At that rate, with 2 round fixtures, you'll be over halfway through the league by October.

2 games Folk , good point but after the weather last year and number of games called off , creates a bit of breathing room to run the cups with the league without all the hold ups that we saw in previous years.

Again, no fixture for UCC or Watergrasshill. Why are teams putting up with this? It’s a blatant disrespect to the other teams who had no choice but to be ready for 21st August, I do recall last year clubs being fined for not fielding a team, should this be considered the same if they’re not ready to compete by the start date.

Banteer and Rathcoole the same, Castleview B will be a quarter of the way through their season before they even kick off.

UCC are more than likely not even training yet . Watergrasshill jumped a division they deserve some Leeway

Are you taking the p##s here saying just because they jumped a division that gives them the right to have extra few weeks grace cop on to yourself that has nothing to do with it no doubht they started training in middle July like most clubs to prepare for new season regardless of what division they are in it's the aul looking after them this season again it's as simple as that.

If the AUL went to them and asked them to jump a league and they asked for a few weeks grace good on them . They could have said no and played premier A . That would have been a disaster

It is crap that teams get these periods free. Look at Village, they played from the start. No respect for Watergrasshill starting late when other teams start now. Laughable administration. Pander to GAA.

Got the last 20-25 mins of the knocknaheeney game went straight up after training from what I seen of it the scoreline it didn't reflect the game ftlrom what I saw of it with the chances knocknaheeney celtic had in that period and fellas on here saying that derek daniel wasn't the manager of knocknaheeney no more by going what I saw of him tonight pacing up and down that line it certainly tell a different story to me as I said previously he's still pulling all the strings up there.
