An hour to go to a red warning and no communication from the league whether games are going ahead or not. Amateur hour once again. Some teams travelling long distances tomorrow and it’s completely not fair on those involved.

Our match is OFF against Springfield, the club was told by the aul it's up to clubs themselves to call the games off or not because the aul aren't calling them off absolute scandalous like, all senior league games and schoolboy/girls games are off

They are a disgrace. Time and time again they highlight how they do not give an ounce of consideration and do not care. Absolutely disgraceful. Red weather warning and not a single update. Sure no game is going to be played today. All they want to do is collect the euros every year and not give a rats ass about anything else.

    A shambles.

Actually, letting teams travel in this weather is a joke and typical of a league on the way out. Leaving it to the club to decide so they don't have to bother.

No one with the courage to make a decision in the interest of safety.

Very poor from The Aul today.

A joke.once again the aul shows what a laughing stock it has become.
No concern for players or clubs whatsoever.
No leadership there..the only time they have any interest is when it's time to feed their greedy bellies on the nights out and when it's time to collect suspension money.

Never a truer statement made on this forum. Barry is underappreciated by the goons. When Pepper first went in he was actually a club man, he would listen to clubs & he would actually try help if he could. Fast forward a few years and Conlon has sucked the life out of him too and he's basically now just lost his love for it.

It's at the stage now where I'm hoping a few good football men at the likes of Blackstone, Cathedral, Castleview, Donoughmore, Castleview, Grattan, etc... get together and consider a break away league or some sort of amalgamation with the CBL. The AUL is finished and it's been in absolute free fall for the last 6 years.

Pretty sure Barry Peelo is actually gone from the AUL committee and just does match reports for the echo now?

Problem you have lads is the lad in charge has always been 2nd in command.

    Now he's in command.

Hes a bit like Captain Mannering in Dads Army, bit dilusional.
Obviously had a relative in the Crows nest on the Titanic.
    " that iceberg is tiny"

The Aul hit that iceberg years back when the money went missing and they turned on each other and never rallied around each other or the clubs,,,,,,," we won't mention the war " seemed to be the thought process.

Dads Army , has a dim wit Captain, check.
    A fed up corpral,,,,,check.
An a load of past there sell by date soldiers , check.

You don't have to be on this forum to see the ineptitude in the higher commitee.

Best case the Aul and the CBL may , an it's only may reach some kind of agreement.

But the reality is the Aul " an I know ye read this" are in denial, an I anit on about a river in Egypt.

I hope ye" Dads Army" read this, completely ignore it an in years to come all the Aul will have is a old dark dusty room out the Cross who knowone can remember what was in there.

There are plenty of fellas involved in the AUL that would love to give their time to a well run league and organisation. A league which cares about its clubs and players. One that focuses on the new age and social media. Rather than a dinosaur website like something you'd see when we were using diall up internet.

There would be plenty of interest in a new breakaway league or some sort of an overhaul of the AUL. Surely the clubs can come together and say we want change and that start's with a whole new elected AUL committee
